About Us

Metlab provides the filmmaker with the tools to develop their project with the help of a dedicated script editor, Lucy Hay, and a film-business consultant, John Sweeney.

Lucy is a writer and script editor of long experience. John specialises in teaching Business Studies For The Creative Industries at the Sir John Cass Department Of Art, Media and Design where Metlab is based.

John has also written a book “Successful Business Models For Filmmakers” www.filmbusinessmodels.com  that was launched, to much acclaim, at a special film industry event at this year’s Edinburgh International Film Festival. He has made two feature films, one of which was screened at Cannes in 2002.
